Headteacher job summary
Cathcart Street Primary School is looking for a Headteacher with primary school experience to be based in the heart of Birkenhead, which is currently undergoing an exciting period of regeneration, growth and development.
Based in a modern building, the environment is purposeful and the facilities are well maintained. Our children are enthusiastic, engaged and keen to learn. We have high aspirations for our pupils and maintain a pupil-centred learning environment.
The Headteacher for our school will have the flair to develop the school’s values, achieve the vision and be able to provide outstanding leadership whilst maintaining our high standards of teaching and learning.
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader who is an experienced, creative educator and who engenders a child-focussed approach. The successful candidate will have a commitment to building strong and effective partnerships with the local community and will be a fantastic communicator with all stakeholders. In return we can offer a friendly, dedicated and experienced staff, a fully supportive Governing Body and happy pupils, who enjoy coming to school!
