Headteacher job summary
A leading Junior school in the city of Derby requires an inspirational and dedicated senior leader to become the new Headteacher from January 2020.
Chellaston Junior School is part of the PEAK Multi Academy Trust alongside Chellaston Infants, Chellaston Academy and Homefields Primary School. This exciting post requires a dedicated and experienced individual who can lead the school towards its goal of ‘excellence’. Chellaston Junior school benefits from its membership of the Derby Teaching School Alliance which is housed within PEAK MAT. Working with external leaders Chellaston Junior school has an excellent reputation in providing a first-class education to its students, developing its staff and supporting other schools within the city.
The ideal candidate will have successful and demonstrable experience and knowledge of leading in a primary or junior school or academy and have ambition, drive and passion for improving the lives of all students.
Chellaston Junior School has the highest expectations of everyone within the school community and the Trust Board wish to appoint a Headteacher to build on our continuing success in all aspects of provision.
The successful candidate will be provided with an opportunity to develop their leadership within a Multi Academy Trust which values and supports continued professional development of the highest level.
