Croft Church of England Primary School is a small rural primary school situated in the picturesque village of Croft on Tees, 4 miles south of Darlington on the A167 Northallerton Road.

The school is located in North Yorkshire. It converted to an Academy on 1st January 2018 and is part of the Dales Academies Trust.

Our school was first established in 1845 by the Reverend Charles Dodgson, the Rector of the Parish of Croft on Tees. As a Church of England school Christian values are the foundation on which we are based and we have strong links with St Peter’s Church.

In May 2022 Ofsted rated our school as Good with Outstanding Behaviour and attitudes. The SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) graded the school as Outstanding in all aspects in March 2018.

Currently we have around 100 pupils on roll and they are divided into four classes.

We hope this website will provide an overview of the exciting learning opportunities provided in our lovely, caring, inclusive school community. We believe that education is a partnership which involves you and the school working and learning together for the benefit of your child and all the children within the school.

We are very proud of our school and welcome visitors. Please contact the school secretary, Mrs Kate Banks on 01325 720528 to arrange this.
