Dalestorth Primary and Nursery School is a friendly, vibrant school which is looking for a leader to take us forward to the next stage in its development. At its last inspection in 2007 the school was judged to be outstanding and this was confirmed in an interim assessment in 2011.

Throughout this period standards of attainment and progress at the school have remained high and well above local and national averages. Details of pupil performance are available in the DfE performance tables.

Staffing is currently stable and numbers at the school have been maintained at around 340 including a 26 place Nursery.

The staff team is professional and hard-working and everyone at the school is looking forward positively and with optimism to working with a new headteacher and further developing good practice and high-quality teaching at the school to accompany our new curriculum.

Dalestorth benefits from strong links with local schools and is keen to see this developed further.
