At Eldon Grove Academy we ensure that every child is happy, safe and is able to learn successfully in a supportive, vibrant environment. We are a learning organisation, not only for our pupils, but also for every member of staff. It is only appropriate within a school setting that staff should model the importance we place upon learning and so our staff attend professional development sessions and are committed to the continued development of their skills and knowledge. Excellent teaching is at the heart of our approach; as a result, staff from Eldon Grove are commissioned to support in other schools. This outreach work resulted in the school being accredited as a National Support School; were we aim to inspire all our partners to work with us as a “stand out” school in a “stand out” learning community

The School has a number of awards which include: Investors in People, Gold award, NACE Award for Gifted and Talented pupils, the International School Award, the Hartlepool Inclusion Standard with distinction, the National Healthy Schools’ Award, Artsmark Award and the Active Mark for Sport.
