What skills and experience we're looking for
Hady Primary School is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate to take on the role of headteacher in this thriving school, following the retirement of the current head at the end of this academic year. The successful applicant will have experience as a member of SLT at deputy or head level, and will be able to demonstrate their contribution to the sustained improvement of a school.
What the school offers its staff
Our children are willing to learn, well-behaved and enthusiastic, and we are a Good school, striving for excellence, welcoming challenges, and delivering consistently strong results. The right candidate for Hady will be as driven as we are to maintain our high standards and lead us on to further success.
The school is in the process of voluntarily converting to academy status, joining Chorus Education Trust in summer 2024. Chorus Trust is a growing trust, committed to providing every child with the best education in both primary and secondary schools across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Through Chorus Trust’s South Yorkshire Teaching Hub, it trains and develops teachers, giving staff and children access to the very best educational thinking and practice.
The school and trust values are very much aligned, and there is real enthusiasm from both about the future opportunities that the union will bring. Many months of working together ahead of the conversion have proven the excellent fit between school and trust. Our new headteacher will have the opportunity to work and grow within the collaborative environment provided by the trust, and to shape new generations of Hady pupils, leading on the aspiration of outstanding achievement for all.
