Further details about the role
As a result of our existing Headteacher moving on to a larger Headship, the Governing Board is excited to offer this rare opportunity to appoint a new Headteacher to lead our successful, happy and nurturing school.
We are looking to recruit an inspirational and effective leader to take our school onto the next stage of our journey. The ideal candidate will be someone who has strong interpersonal skills, the ability to bring people together to work as a team and who can strike the balance between providing support and challenge.
We believe that all pupils, staff, parents and governors are part of a community of learning, where standards and expectations are high and there is a real purpose in being part of the family of Christ. We value the whole child and aim to nurture their spiritual, cognitive, emotional and physical sides in order for them to flourish.
With our Deputy Headteacher having taken up her own headship in January 2023, this post also offers the Headteacher the unique opportunity to influence the direction of the senior leadership team. The Governors will seek the Headteacher's input on this future appointment, to provide them with the best possible support in their new role. We currently have leadership from an Associate Headteacher and a team of Acting Assistant Headteachers.
Commitment to safeguarding
Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers and trustees to share this commitment.
Our recruitment process follows the keeping children safe in education guidance.
