Further details about the role
We are a thriving school set in the historic village of Kington St Michael, drawing pupils from the village and surrounding areas.
A carefully constructed school development plan underpins the continuous improvements expected in teaching and learning, curriculum planning, and special and additional educational needs. We benefit from a committed and talented teaching and support staff, a family-friendly atmosphere, wonderful pupils and supportive parents and carers. We are looking to appoint a Headteacher with the skills to maintain the school’s ethos, with the inspiration and vision to develop the school even further.
You must have the knowledge, experience, and resilience to drive improvement throughout the school, with the interpersonal skills to motivate others and lead our team. It is expected that this would be demonstrated by NPQH, or evidence of an equivalent level of learning achieved through senior leadership role within a school.
