Killamarsh Junior School is a mid-sized community school set in generous grounds and conveniently located near the M1 motorway. Due to the retirement of our Headteacher, we are looking for a new Head to guide us through a period of transition to a position of stability in which our children can reach their full potential. The transition period will include the school becoming part of a Multi Academy Trust.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- The ability to develop a broad and enriching curriculum and a culture in which everyone’s contribution is valued.
- High expectations for children’s achievement and behaviour.
- The drive, ambition, and vision to help the school succeed in the long-term.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire both staff and pupils to reach their full potential and to support positive relationships with all members of the school and wider community.
- Proven experience of building, developing, and supporting a successful leadership team and the ability to delegate appropriately.
