The children, staff, parents, and Governors of Melbourne Junior School are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, and inspirational Headteacher, with a passion to make a difference and further build on the school’s many achievements.

This vacancy has arisen due to the forthcoming retirement of our longstanding Headteacher, with a start date of September 2025.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

A commitment to excellence in teaching and learning
High standards and expectations for children’s achievements and behaviours
The ability to engage, inspire and support all staff and pupils in fulfilling their potential
