Headteacher job summary

Are you a visible, supportive, and aspiring school leader who is genuinely interested in community and excited by the opportunity to make a difference? Then make the move to Lady Modiford’s Primary School as Headteacher.

A great opportunity for an aspiring leader, joining a school on its journey of improvement. That means you will have real scope to influence current practice, develop a clear vision for the curriculum and further establish the school within the local community. Providing the dynamic and professional leadership it takes to ensure every pupil receives a high quality, principled education will be key. An ability to build community is vital to this role, with numerous opportunities to be a visible part of local events.

To apply, you will need to be a passionate practitioner who thrives on getting stuck in and has a clear vision for the curriculum. You will already have some experience in leading with impact in a school, be willing to share your professional knowledge with others and excited to embrace our school values. You will be as comfortable greeting parents each day as you are collaborating with your Trust colleagues. At the centre of your leadership you’ll be committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of pupils and protecting and enhancing the Anglican ethos, working with the Church family and guided by Christian values.

As well as a competitive salary and attractive benefits package, the Trust provides a rich programme of CPD and collaboration through an established leadership network. Being part of an outward looking Trust with key partnerships, you’ll learn from others in order to broaden your perspective, whilst also being supported through your own personal wellbeing by the Trust’s supervision programme for Headteachers.
