Lady Modiford’s School is a small village school in Walkhampton, Dartmoor seeking a new Headteacher having previously been under an Executive Headship with Meavy School under the West Dartmoor Federation. This new role provides a great opportunity for a passionate leader to make an impact, partnering with Meavy. Lady Modiford’s is a historic small village school that is part of St Christopher’s Trust - a family of 18 Church and Community Schools spanning three local authorities and providing a network of collaboration. Situated in the heart of Dartmoor, Walkhampton is a community that has strong links with the school and the church. The school is supported by a passionate staff team that believe that every child is individual and that every child’s journey through school needs to be unique to allow them to really fulfil their potential. Pupils are eager to learn, and governors are committed to the school’s development and journey, in partnership with Meavy School.
