Marches School, part of Marches Academy Trust, has recently been rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted with lots of scope to build and grow further. The Trust is in search of an individual possessing the appropriate personal attributes, potential, and values to spearhead a new chapter for the school. Your role will be crucial in our journey towards ongoing enhancement and positive results, contributing to the provision of quality education for the Oswestry community in the picturesque rural surroundings of Shropshire.

We invite applications from Headteachers with a proven track record of successful headship, or aspiring Deputy Heads with a desire to take their next career step.

Our Trust is deeply rooted in a coaching culture. For new Headteachers, comprehensive support, induction, and mentorship are provided to facilitate their development and growth within our Trust. Our noteworthy success in cultivating outstanding senior leaders through our talent pathway and people-centric approach is a testament to our commitment. Our schools operate under a model of autonomy through policy, allowing experienced Headteachers to lead independently with Trust support readily available when required.
