What skills and experience we're looking for
We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary School in Rochdale with 437 pupils currently on roll.
Our school has been judged Good by Ofsted and Outstanding by SIAMS but we never rest and are looking to continue to develop, improve and flourish. We are driven by high aspirations for all our children combined with a nurturing environment that puts a high premium on their wellbeing and safety. We are proud of our hard-working, dedicated staff and our harmonious school community. We are looking for a Headteacher who will love the school as much as we do.
If you are that person, you will have:
- Excellent Leadership skills
- A commitment to realising the potential in every child
- The ability to inspire and motivate others and develop staff to fulfil their potential and ambitions
- Excellent communication skills and a determination to work closely with all our stakeholders including the Church
- A supportive caring nature
It is imperative that you share our vision and values and the Christian nature and ethos of the school but it is not a requirement for our Headteacher to be a practising Christian. We are an inclusive school and welcome all.
What the school offers its staff
In return, we will offer you:
- A warm, friendly, supportive community
- Lovely children
- Dedicated staff
- Supportive Governors
