What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a talented and inspirational headteacher who will build upon the existing strengths of Chantry Middle School and further develop an ambitious quality of education.

Morpeth is a 20 minute commute from Newcastle with good transport links including bus and rail networks. We pride ourselves on being a fully inclusive and truly comprehensive school with high standards. Our purpose is to provide experiences to inspire, motivate and meet the needs of all learners. We encourage a lifelong love of learning to enable all to develop the attitudes, skills and knowledge to become accomplished students.
Chantry Middle School was judged to be good by Ofsted inspectors in October 2022 and this post will lead the school on the next stage of its improvement journey.
Chantry Middle School is part of the Three Rivers Learning Trust, which consists of eight schools in the Morpeth and Rothbury area. The Trust is growing and our schools collaborate closely to support the quality of education across the Trust.
