Newfield School is an impressive, well-resourced multi-faith special school situated in Blackburn, Lancashire. We provide high quality specialist education, care and therapy for children and young people aged 2 - 19 years with a wide range of learning difficulties including autism, PMLD, SLD, complex medical needs, sensory impairments and physical disabilities.

In Autumn 2018, under the Leadership and Management of Newfield, we opened an exciting new specialist provision for Autism. In this innovative and exciting time of development, we are looking to appoint a Headteacher to join us, starting in January/Easter 2022.
Working in partnership with the Governing Body, this post in school provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to shape the future special needs provision in the Borough and will form part of a leadership succession plan as the school grows and develops in the coming years.
