The Governors are looking for a resilient, experienced, and inspirational leader who will lead the existing team and build on theprogress and achievements alreadysecured during the recent years.
The successful applicant will be committed and innovative with the capacity to both recognise and unlock the potential in each and every child, providing a nurturing and enriching primary school experience.

- a commitment to embedding achievement for all pupils, including those who have Special Education Needs and to ensure their needs are met
- high expectations of all pupils in their attainment, behaviour and attendance and the skills needed to translate these expectations into pupils achieving their full potential
- an ability to turn challenging situations into positive outcomes
- the ability to communicate clearly with all stakeholders, including staff, pupils, parents and the governing body
- a demonstrable track record of developing a team to meet the high expectations required and unlocking their leadership potential

Oulton Primary is a recently refurbished school that boasts an attractive spacious working environment. Re-opened in June 2012, the multi-million pound, architect-designed building is fit for education in the 21st century. It includes a room for Extended Services, sensory room, pastoral base, multiple intervention rooms, spacious library, breakfast club area, purpose-built classrooms and a large sports hall.
