Headteacher job summary

The Governing Body of Over Primary School is looking for an experienced senior leader with a proven track record ready for the next step in their career, or an existing headteacher looking for a new challenge, to lead our school in the next exciting chapter of its journey for excellence.
The successful candidate will share our vision and care for our school, staff, children, parents and community. They will be passionate about nurturing every child and staff member to be the best they can be, within a happy, safe and creative learning environment, whilst demonstrating excellence and enthusiasm in all that they do.

Our school is in the village of Over and at the heart of our community. The village is 12 miles from Cambridge and a popular place to live. The school has a one form entry and a PAN of 30. There are currently 210 children on the school role; however, the village is currently expanding and so we expect the numbers to grow over the next few years.
