Headteacher job summary
The Governing Board of Pulham Church of England VC Primary School wish to appoint an exceptional individual who is highly motivated and inspirational as their Headteacher. The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to ensure continued opportunities for growth and success for our pupils and staff, as the school continues on its improvement journey. We need someone with unwavering drive and vision to lead us into the next phase of our school’s future as we continue to live out our Christian vision and ‘Shine like lights in the world’. They will be expected to maintain positive relationships with colleagues, governors, parents, the local church and the community.
Our school is centred in the heart of the Pulhams. It has close relationships with the community that surrounds it, and a committed, active Parent Teacher Association. The voice of the School Council also plays an important part in decision making adding an important element to the school.
Wellbeing is at the heart of the school for pupils, staff and parents/carers and this contributes to a high level of success within the school.
We are looking for a dedicated and professional Headteacher who will:
Demonstrate strong leadership skills
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Establish a creative and responsive approach to teaching and learning and contribute to the development of collaborative practices and processes within the school
Demonstrate the ability to empower all children to take an active part in their own learning and achieve their potential in a positive and creative environment
Uphold and develop the Christian ethos and aims of the school and its children
