We are seeking an outstanding leader who will work openly and positively in close collaboration with all our stakeholders to secure our continuing development as a school, and to support the whole school community to achieve its best, and continue the strong leadership that has already been in place to take the school further.

The recruitment of our new Headteacher follows the retirement of the school’s current serving Head Maureen Hughes, who’s had a highly successful career at Ravensbury, and served the last 7 years at Headteacher. • Be passionate and committed to developing children’s learning
  • Have high expectations of all children and staff
  • Have the ability to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse community, and ensure the school sits at the heart of its community
  • Embrace opportunities to extend our provision
  • Recognise and nurture what makes our school unique
  • Have a collaborative and open, supportive style
  • Continue to maintain and promote a strong culture of safeguarding

Our children ask that you will:

  • Make everyone feel welcome, safe and valued
  • Celebrate our strengths and differences
  • Listen to what we say, invite our challenge and act on our feedback
  • Support and challenge us all so we can all reach our potential
  • Welcome our ideas and be happy to try new things
