  • Our next Headteacher will be expected to build on the school's current strengths and successes.

  • We demand high standards of our students, our staff, and ourselves as governors and expect our Headteacher to do the same.

  • Applicants are required to be practising Catholics who will provide the Catholic leadership the school requires.

  • Deliver on its immediate needs and help shape its future.

  • It is important that applicants demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in order to lead the school through the changing national, diocesan and local landscape.

  • Specifically they will need to engage with the developing Diocesan MAT landscape.

Our school is an 11-18 voluntary aided Catholic school in Bath with approximately 1050 students.
In 2019 we were recognised once again as an ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in our Section 48 Diocesan Inspection, highlighting our school as a flourishing educational community where every child is valued and encouraged to grow as individuals.
In November 2022, our first Ofsted inspection since July 2013 recognised St Gregory’s as Good overall with outstanding judgements for Behaviour and Attitudes and Personal Development.
