Shawclough Primary School is a vibrant and exciting Community Primary school where children and staff thrive, where every member of our community is valued and, where innovation, initiative and creativity are actively encouraged. Inclusion is the heart of our school. Shawclough is unique in that in partnership with the LA it also has two resourced provisions for children who may otherwise be out of mainstream education.
Our current Headteacher will take up a new challenge in April 2025 and the Governing Board are looking to recruit an experienced and committed leader who has the skills to build upon our current strengths and the vision to develop our education provision into its next phase.
The Governors would like someone who:

- Will ensure that all Children at our school reach their full potential with an enjoyable and enriching curriculum and environment.

- Has the ability to maintain excellent partnerships across the local RUSC Collaborative.
- Committed to continue the work of inclusion and the Resourced Provisions.
