Are you are inspired by the idea of working in a unique small primary school at the heart of Shottery village, just minutes away from Ann Hathaway’s Cottage? If so, you will love our school. This is a school like no other. With just 85 children, and a half Tudor, half Victorian main building, this school offers a unique opportunity for a teacher who is looking to maximise the opportunities of cultural Stratford upon Avon and working in a community where the children are at the heart of all we do.
Shottery School is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School, which benefits from strong links with the local church, also dedicated to St. Andrew. We are a mixed class school currently Reception/Year 1, Year 2, Years 3/4 and Years 5/6.
We offer a welcoming environment with a caring, Christian ethos which runs through the whole school. We are extremely proud of our school and our enthusiastic, inspiring pupils. Together our committed staff, engaged parents and encouraging governors share one goal which is to enable our children to achieve.
