Headteacher job summary
The Marches Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a dedicated, hardworking inspirational Headteacher to work in partnership with the Deputy CEO and existing Senior Leadership team across the Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Trust at a key phase in its development, to gain valuable experience and career development. The post will involve a teaching commitment and we are therefore seeking a leader with a track record of exceptional classroom practice. Roles and responsibilities will be determined based upon the strengths of the successful candidate.
You must have;
• A proven track record as a Headteacher with a commitment to ensure high standards across the school for pupils’ achievements and behaviour
• Excellent interpersonal skills and have experience of mentoring and coaching colleagues across the school
• Experience in teaching across the key stages
• Commitment to engaging the local community
• Energetic, enthusiastic and positive with a good sense of humour!
• Enthusiastic and able to encourage parents and carers to work in partnership with the school and to engage their children’s learning
