What the school offers its staff

“Pupils love their school. Some even used words like ‘amazing’ to describe it.” OfSTED March 2023

Governors are seeking to appoint a headteacher to lead this outstanding school which sits at the heart of its community. The retirement of the current postholder means we can offer this rare opportunity for a new headteacher to take the school into the next decade.

This popular, flourishing and financially stable school is in the vibrant town of Ulverston and offers the opportunity for a leader to flourish alongside a committed and forward-looking team of staff and governors dedicated to building an inclusive outward looking school. Inspiring that team with a strong educational philosophy the successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop the curriculum and improve learning outcomes for all pupils; leading incremental change based on strong foundations of previous success.
