What skills and experience we're looking for
Slimbridge Primary School offers an exciting opportunity to lead our popular and thriving village school.
We are looking for a candidate who has successfully fulfilled any of the following roles:
- Headship (including an extended Acting Headship)
- Deputy Headship
- Assistant Headteacher
- Recognised member of a School Leadership Team
- Has successfully worked in more than one school setting
We seek a Headteacher who:

- Values the importance of positive home/school links
- Is not averse to a little timely humour
- Has a basic understanding of school budgets (further training available)
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (NPQH is desirable but not essential)
- Commitment to continuous professional development
