What skills and experience we're looking for
You will demonstrate the ability to plan strategically in the changing AP and SEND landscape and respond to external changes at national, regional and local levels.
You will be a graduate with a degree and qualified teacher status (QTS). An NPQH or similar qualification is desirable, and you will have a proven experience in senior leadership and management within a school or pupil referral unit. You will have the ability to plan strategically and allocate resources effectively in collaboration with the senior leadership team.
The Role
You will also be expected to:
• Lead members of the senior team to deliver the schools vision and achieve good outcomes for all students
• Be committed to working in partnership with parents, mainstream schools, professionals and members of the management committee
• Be proficient in data analysis and able to strategize and identify areas of improvement
• Be able to influence, inspire and enthuse students and staff
