Headteacher job summary
On behalf of the Directors of The Vine Schools Trust, we would like to recruit four outstanding head teachers to lead our Dengie schools. We are seeking passionate and dedicated head teachers for Latchingdon, St Nicholas', Southminster and St Cedd's C of E Primary Schools.
The Dengie Peninsula is the home to four of our Trust primary schools. We are committed to providing good quality education for the children in this region and work closely with our school leaders to achieve this. We are looking for dedicated, passionate and driven leaders who know what outstanding teaching looks like and have high expectations for the children in their care. We are looking for caring and nurturing leaders who can embrace our Christian ethos and provide a safe, spiritual school for our children and families to thrive. We'd like to recruit four outstanding leaders for these schools who can work together, support each other and, as a result, raise the standards in their own school. The Vine Schools Trust is a family and we want to create a close knit group of heads in this region who are passionate about their own school but committed to working together for the good of all children.
As our Head you will be part of a whole school community and will be a valued member of the Vine Schools Trust family: we have committed and talented staff, happy children, very supportive parents and a strong Local Board of Governance who work in close partnership with the school.
What's important to us:
· Creating and preserving the good reputation of our school within the community
· Commitment to a relevant, engaging and forward thinking curriculum
· A passion for achievement at every level
· Engaged and motivated staff
· A warm and engaging school with happy children who are eager to learn
· A strong Christian ethos
· Managing the school effectively and efficiently within available resources
Commitment to safeguarding
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

St Cedd's C of E Primary School is a friendly, small, village school located in the heart of Bradwell - on - Sea. We aim to provide a high quality experience enabling all of our children to achieve their potential as individuals, within a distinctive Christian ethos. The aims of St Cedd's are founded on the recognition that the family and the school work together for the development of our children. In 2018 SIAMs recognised that strong and seamless leadership and governance ensured the need of all pupils and their families are nurtured. In 2017 Ofsted judged our school to be good. We want to find a loving and passionate leader to continue to grow and nurture our small school.
