Headteacher job summary

Following the retirement of our long serving Headteacher, the Governors are seeking an aspirational leader who will be able to demonstrate that they have the vision, leadership, teaching experience, and values to build on the successes the school has achieved to date.

After 27 years of direction under the one Headteacher, the Governors acknowledge the challenges that the new Head will face, and are looking for a passionate school leader, who can engage with pupils, staff and parents, provide inspiration, lead by example, and take the school forward into its next phase.

We are offering our new Headteacher an exciting opportunity to encourage and nurture every child to reach their full potential, and to engage and develop staff with the latest innovations in education.

You may be an existing Headteacher or welcome the opportunity to become a first-time Head. If you believe you offer the leadership which inspires and motivates others towards excellence and which will ensure the very best education for our children, then we would love to hear from you.

We warmly welcome informal visits to the school so you can see for yourself the school in action, meet our highly motivated staff and pupils and be inspired by the opportunity this role offers.
