What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an exceptional Headteacher who will embrace our Christian ethos and lead our school into its next chapter, someone who is keen to work in collaboration with the other schools in the Trust and embrace the opportunities being in a MAT brings. As a school we are totally committed to building on the work that has already been achieved. The CEO and Board therefore wish to appoint someone who will maintain the present ethos and provide a high standard of leadership with a dedicated team of skilled and knowledgeable professionals. Whilst there is no specific teaching commitment attached to this post, we expect the successful candidate to be able to lead by example and support them in encouraging the ongoing professional development of all staff using their exceptional knowledge of teaching, learning and curriculum.
What the school offers its staff
We have much to offer our new headteacher, as an experienced Trust established for nearly 10 years we have a proven track record of staff development and support. You will work with a hands on and supportive CEO, who is herself an ex-headteacher and current NLE. You will have the support of 4 fantastic headteachers in our Trust schools who are collaborative and supportive. Our small but excellent Central Team will work with you and your staff to support and develop your team alongside yourself. Our Board and School Committee are very supportive and know the school community very well. As a Head in TTSAT you will be entitled to the benefits we give to headteachers, some of these include; day off for birthday, 5 days in lieu term time holiday to compensate 24/7 nature of headship, dedicated headship time off site each half term.
