Headteacher job summary

The Governing body of St Paulinus Catholic Primary school are seeking to appoint a Headteacher from January 2020, and believe that the school offers a great opportunity to challenge an existing Head or nurture the ambitions of an aspiring Headteacher.

We are looking for a strong, dynamic and inspirational leader who:

• Is a committed and practising Catholic
• Has a clear strategic direction and understanding of education and leadership in a Catholic School
• Is an excellent practitioner with an ability to inspire, lead and develop teaching and Learning throughout the school
• Is an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills
• Has high expectations and is unrelenting in their pursuit of excellence

St. Paulinus is an outstanding school (section 48, 2017) which is deeply committed to the Catholic mission. The school inspires all within this faith community to live life to the full, learn to the very best of their ability. The pupils are proud of their school and are polite and helpful to all.
