• An outstanding primary practitioner with a track record of professional and inspirational leadership and management, leading to high quality education by effectively managing the curriculum and whole school improvement.

• Able to build a clear vision, leadership and direction for the further development of the school.

• Accountable for their own actions and the actions of their staff.

• Able to work on their own initiative, whilst balancing the needs of building a consistently strong staff team.

• Skilled in monitoring and evaluating standards of attainment, learning and teaching and is able to create clear and robust action plans to ensure that all children reach their full potential, including the most vulnerable learners.

• Able to lead a culture that promotes a love of learning, lifelong skills and prepares our children for the challenges that the future holds.

• An effective communicator with staff, parents/carers and the wider community.

The governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding leader for this vibrant primary school for children aged 2 – 11 years. The school is a happy environment where children are placed at the heart of everything and so thrive in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Our governing body are looking for a skilled and special individual who can continue to move our school forward in the current educational climate, including within the potential academisation agenda. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the school at an exciting time through the next phase of its journey – we are ambitious for the future and start from a very strong foundation with an excellent team of governors, teachers and staff, engaged parents/carers and absolutely fantastic children.
