HEADTEACHER job summary
The Arnewood School is located on the south coast, at the edge of Hampshire’s New Forest. As our trust expands, we require an outstanding school leader to maintain and develop the excellent educational provision of a school which very much sits at the heart of its community.
The successful candidate will be highly professional, assuring the highest quality of teaching and learning in this 11-19 co-educational comprehensive Academy, including its vibrant sixth form judged outstanding in 2018. The post holder will be required to demonstrate exceptional ability in developing teaching and learning, and, curriculum design and implementation with impact.
You will work successfully with key stakeholders and be an integral member of the Executive Education Team of The Gryphon Multi-Academy Trust. You will be supported by directors, local governors and the trust’s CEO. The strongest candidates will have the ability quickly to gain the confidence of students, staff, parents and local community (including other school leaders) to sustain high achievement. You will offer imaginative approaches to deliver the ambition of the recent White Paper and work to develop effective partnerships with those sharing equal vision.
