Gainsborough Parish C of E school is a vibrant, inclusive and aspirational primary school in the heart of Gainsborough. With 292 children on roll, the school serves a wide demographic of families within its close community.

We are seeking to appoint a forward thinking, dynamic and talented Headteacher from January 2025, to lead Gainsborough Parish on its improvement journey. We are looking for someone with commitment to driving the school forward, upholding and maintaining the distinctive Christian ethos of our school. The appointed person will be someone who will lead our passionate, dedicated team of professionals offering a broad and exciting curriculum that encourages every child to find and fulfil their potential, both academically and beyond the classroom.

The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about working with families from all backgrounds, believing in the fundamental importance and value of education in changing young people’s lives. As well as having a day-to-day oversight of the leadership and management, and operational organisation of the school, you will work closely with the Trust Education Development team to develop a creative, happy, successful and ambitious school.

We are on a very exciting journey and are looking forward to having to right candidate join our family. We are looking to our new headteacher to inspire us, empower our pupils and staff to ‘journey together with hope and aspiration’.
