A rare opportunity to lead our large 3 form entry school, split over two sites. Following the retirement of our long-standing, popular Head Teacher, Governors at The Lanes Primary School are seeking to appoint, for September 2024, a new Head Teacher who shares our ethos and embraces our vision. The successful candidate will possess the enthusiasm and drive to inspire our motivated team of staff whilst bringing their own forward-thinking vision and innovative ideas that could further enhance children’s achievement and experience at our school.

The Lanes Primary School is based on two sites which are located closely together - Reception and Year 1 at the Meadow Lane site and Years 2 -6 at the Cator Lane site.

As our new Head Teacher, you will be someone with a proven track record of great leadership. You will have shown that you thrive under the challenges of leadership, whatever you are presented with (no day is ever the same!). You will have a clear vision and be able to work strategically.
