Headteacher job summary

The governors at Walsh Memorial CoE (VC) Infant School are looking for a dynamic, energetic, proactive person who can lead our school forward. We want to find a leader who can bring a fresh view about how to deliver a high quality educational experience for every child in the school, no matter what their advantages or challenges may be. Our new Headteacher will have the vision to create and communicate aspiration and success throughout the school community.

Walsh Memorial Church of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School is a two form entry school located in the village of Ash, Surrey. The school is over 100 years old and is housed in the original school building with modern additions. This is a close-knit, friendly and nurturing community school that generations of village residents have attended.

As a Church of England School we have strong links with our local church and look forward to our new Headteacher building on those relationships as well as upholding and celebrating the Christian ethos of the school
