Due to a re-structure of the original leadership team Ascend Learning Trust is seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspiring leader to the position of Headteacher at Wellington Eagles Primary Academy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented senior leader with vision, drive, energy, compassion and proven leadership skills, who would relish the chance of working in a supportive and outward facing multi academy trust.

The Headteacher will work with staff, governors, and the Trust to deliver the school’s strategic developments by building on the school’s strong foundations and delivering the vision of a high-performing, safe and nurturing environment where all pupils are valued equally and encouraged to become independent learners and critical thinkers.

We are looking for a Headteacher who is:

  • able to demonstrate significant impact in a leadership role within a primary school;
  • a leader who can inspire and motivate staff, children, and parents;
  • passionate about each child being given the opportunity and means to reach their full potential; and
  • able to articulate a clear vision and set the strategic direction for the school.
