About the Role

As Headteacher, you will provide strategic leadership and professional vision to secure the success and continual improvement of Wyvern Academy. This includes:

  • Leading by example to uphold and articulate a clear moral purpose and culture of high expectations.
  • Ensuring outstanding teaching and learning, curriculum development, pupil progress, and personal development.
  • Leading, managing, and developing staff to build capacity and ensure high performance at all levels.
  • Promoting equality, inclusion, and a nurturing learning environment where every pupil feels safe and valued.
  • Maintaining effective partnerships with parents, the wider community, and external agencies.
  • Driving accountability and operational efficiency, including financial oversight and compliance with safeguarding and educational regulations.
  • Working closely with the Trust and Local Governing Board to implement strategic objectives, Trust policies, and continuous improvement.
