What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you ready to lead and inspire a vibrant school community?

Do you have the vision and drive to cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation at Yeo Moor Primary School?

Join us as our new Headteacher!

At Futura Learning Partnership, we are committed to creating an environment where every employee - whether in teaching, support, or leadership - can flourish. We strive to attract, develop, and retain the very best talent by creating a culture that values professional development, wellbeing, and inclusion.

Your Role in Shaping the Future of Yeo Moor Primary School

As Headteacher at Yeo Moor Primary School, you will lead a dedicated school community, inspiring everyone to work together towards a bright and ambitious future. This is your opportunity to shape a vision that nurtures creativity, cultivates aspiration, and ensures every child has the chance to succeed and thrive.

Located in the heart of North Somerset, Yeo Moor Primary is a lively, inclusive, and secure environment where children can learn, grow, and play. The school places great importance on celebrating individuality while cultivating a warm and supportive community spirit. We make the most of our extensive grounds all year round both during play times and as an exciting resource for learning. We have sports pitches, play apparatus, a newly created outdoor classroom for EYFS, woodland and nature areas, plus four distinct playground areas for days when it is too wet to be on the field.

In January 2024 the school opened its successful and popular Nursery School with its own dedicated accommodation and outdoor area. The school was selected by the Local Authority to run a pilot and has a Nurture Hub that offers very specialised provision for a small group of children. The school is well considered in the local community and is oversubscribed.

What You’ll Bring to Yeo Moor

We are looking for an exceptional leader who will:

  • Inspire and motivate staff, young people, and parents with a clear vision for the future of Yeo Moor Primary School.
  • Have a proven track record in raising educational standards and delivering exceptional outcomes for students.
  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership skills with the ability to manage change, engage stakeholders, and drive improvement.
  • Build a strong culture of inclusion and ambition, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
  • Bring a strategic approach to managing resources, including budget, staffing, and school development priorities.
  • Align with Futura Learning Partnership’s values, promoting respect, opportunity, collaboration, and aspiration in all aspects of school life.
