About the Role:

The role of a Healthcare assistant is to assist in the domestic care and general welfare of pupils in respect of personal hygiene programmes and at meal times, using specialist equipment where necessary.

In this role you will be expected to provide non discriminatory care and support to a diverse and unique group of students through the use of the specific care and support plans. Using the specialised equipment provided, beds, hoists you will be expected to ensure student dignity at all times. Working with your line manager you will report any changes or cause for concern and seek help and advice when required to guarantee student wellbeing.

You must be a proactive individual with a warm and nurturing approach, be comfortable assisting with student’s personal care and any first aid issues around the academy.
