As a Health & Safety Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, best practices, and efficiency across our 7 schools.
Your Role:
Advise: You will provide competent risk focused Health, Safety and Environmental advice in partnership with Handsam Ltd.
Coordinate & Support: You’ll be the safety compass, guiding us through the intricacies of Health & Safety. Whether it’s establishing standards or providing expert advice, you’ll be the go-to person.
Collaborate: Teamwork makes the dream work! Work closely with our in-house facilities, catering and IT teams, along with other responsible individuals in our academies to keep our safety practices top-notch.
Educate & Train: Share your knowledge and foster a culture where safety is second nature.
Standards & Systems: Managing safety isn’t just about rules—it’s about creating a culture. You’ll monitor processes, communications, and training to ensure compliance.
You Bring:
Practical Know-How: Your experience in school settings is our foundation for safety.
Sector Expertise: Your grasp of educational Health & Safety practices guides us forward.
Qualifications: While a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification would be fantastic, we’re open to candidates with equivalent experience who are willing to undertake professional qualifications. Practical school experience is a must.
