Healthcare Assistant

Salary: B Band - £22,737 - £23,500

Governors are seeking to appoint a Healthcare Assistant. The role will entail supporting pupils with personal care and hygiene; and maintaining the hygiene of specialist equipment. You will also provide supervision of pupils at breaktimes and assist with lunchtime feeds.

Forest Oak School is:

  • for pupils with MLD, aged 4-18 years
  • an outstanding school (Ofsted 2011, 2014 & 2019)

Essential/ Desirable:

  • NNEB/ NVQ 2 /BTEC or other relevant childcare qualification desirable
  • GCSE Maths & English Pass essential
  • SEN experience desirable
