HIGHER LEARNING TEACHING ASSISTANT (HLTA)

Specialist area of: Literacy or Social, Emotional and Mental Health or Hearing Impairment

We are seeking to appoint as soon as possible proactive and reliable HLTAs to join our Inclusive Learning Faculty. The successful candidate will enjoy working with young people and will play a key role in supporting students in school, both in class and through the delivery of small group work. In addition, the successful candidate may be required to work in the Learning Support Centre in a HLTA capacity.

Opportunities to train to learn how to use different programmes and initiatives will be part of ongoing CPD, along with networking opportunities and collaborative practice. The successful candidate will need to be willing to learn and highly organised and motivated to improve standards of student achievement in one of the key areas of Literacy, Hearing Impairment or SEMH.
