• Job role:
  • HLTA (higher level teaching assistant)
• Visa sponsorship: Visas cannot be sponsored
• Working pattern: Full time: 35 Hours per week, 39.6 weeks per year
• Contract type: Permanent
• Full-time equivalent salary: Grade 6 (SCP 23 – 27) - £34,434 - £38,220 (This is the full-time salary. The actual salary will be paid pro rata to hours worked)

What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will have:

• Higher Level Teaching Assistant status or willingness to work towards. 

• Trainingand experiencein relevant learning strategies e.g. literacy/ Key Stage 1 or 2  

• Experience of leadingwhole-classteaching opportunities from EYFS to KS2

• Experience of preparing and delivering resources (age and abilityappropriate)to engage with pupils and contribute to their learning objectives 

• Experience of developing and implementing Individual Education Plans and Behaviour Plans 

• Experience of working with pupils with different abilities, and adapting own approach and learning 

• Experience of delivering a strong universal teaching offer
