Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at Brize Norton Primary. This is an exciting opportunity for an HLTA to become a part of our team who will work collaboratively with teaching staff but primarily assist their class teacher in the delivery of inspiring and inclusive lessons. The role includes providing cover for planned absences of teachers such as PPA across the school. We are also looking for someone who is passionate about outdoor play who can help lead and continue to develop our playtime provision here at Brize alongside the headteacher, time will be given for this within the given hours.

We are a village school comprising of one reception class of 20 children and four mixed year group classes. We have recently been graded GOOD by Ofsted. Along with our Forest School offer for all children and existing Platinum School Games award, we have recently been awarded our Platinum award for our Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) provision. We have a real passion for outdoor learning and supporting children with their physical and mental health.
