What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly effective, dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This will involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils achievement, progress and development.
You will also be responsible for the management and development of a specialist area within the school such as the library, displays around school or accelerated reader.
You’ll do all this whilst capturing the spirit of our vision and values and role-modelling exceptional professional behaviours. How and why you do things matters greatly to us, as does your ability to use your initiative, work independently and demonstrate ambition and integrity.
