Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary
Following a recent reorganisation we are looking to recruit 2 HLTA’s (1 permanent post and 1 maternity cover) to start on the 31st August 2022. The successful candidates do not have to have their HLTA qualification but will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of leading, at some level, within the classroom.
You will be required to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under the supervision of a qualified teacher. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil’s achievement, progress and development.
