What skills and experience we're looking for
- Experience of working with young people and children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Experience of whole class teaching example providing cover for class teachers, planning and delivering lessons for PPA and cover (possible specialism in RE)

What the school offers its staff
The Governors wish to appoint a HLTA to work as part of our team of dedicated and committed support staff.
We are an inclusive and caring school and offer good quality support to all our pupils including those with special educational needs. Our children are polite, inquisitive and eager to learn and you would be working amongst a friendly, supportive staff whose strength is working as a team.
The post will involve delivering a subjectto each year group over 4 afternoons during teacher’s PPA time. Each afternoon you will teach 2 classes for 60minutes with the same prepared lesson. Currently this is RE, however couldbe subject to change. In the morning, you will cover classes on an ad hoc basis or for planned, regular cover such as ECT time, SLT time.
