Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary

The Role Edenthorpe Hall Primary Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team on a fixed term basis!     As our Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will be: Plan and prepare lessons with teachers, participating in stages of the planning cycle, including in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans. Develop and prepare resources for learning activities in accordance with lesson plans and in response to pupil need. Provide detailed verbal and written feedback on lesson content, pupil responses to learning activities and pupil behaviour, to teachers and pupils. Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs     We are looking for individuals who have: Previous successful experience in a primary school setting Level 3 NVQ qualifications or equivalent Knowledge of the primary curriculum An understanding of the educational development of pupils Ability to demonstrate effective behaviour management strategies
