The Governors are looking for three highly motivated and inspirational Teaching Assistants to join our Catholic primary school at St Joseph’s Catholic Voluntary Academy Pudsey. We are looking for candidates who can motivate and inspire pupils in their learning and behaviour, with the expectation that you will support children on a 1:1 basis. We would particularly welcome applications from applicants who have experience of working with EYFS.
Experience of working with children with SEMH needs or as a 1:1 support worker is desirable but not essential.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can support the Catholic/Christian ethos of the school.
- A talented primary practitioner with high expectations and standard, who will be committed to the progress of all children.
- Has experience in working with children in EYFS.
- Has experience of working with children with EAL and supporting SEN pupils.
- Can use their initiative and work flexibly supported by a strong team.
- Is an excellent communicator, able to liaise successfully with children, colleagues and parents.
- Will be committed to attending staff and moderation meetings across the Trust, after school.
