Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary
Due to success and additional demand here at Hardingstone Academy, we are looking for a passionate and innovative Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our hard working, diverse and dedicated team. This is a crucial role to ensure students can access learning, fulfil their potential, and take part in all aspects of school life
Are you an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant or an aspiring HLTA who is passionate about supporting the progress, outcomes and well-being of students? Do you want to be supported in your career development?
In your role as HLTA you will assist in every aspect of Hardingstone Academy. Not only will you will work alongside students to ensure they are supported in their learning, personal development and beyond, but you will also be encouraged to bring your flair and enthusiasm to their learning as you plan and deliver your own suite of activities, lessons and interventions.
The successful candidate will:
Be flexible, dedicated and passionate about supporting and delivering learning to enable students to progress, become independent learners and make at least expected progress.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and share the school’s mission and ethos.

We currently have over 230 children on roll and have recently had a new building which will increase our capacity to two form entry. The children engage fantastically in lessons and are proud of their school and their achievements.
